Mike Pedersen has over 24 years in the Pro AV industry and was the 2018 CTS Holder of the Year.  Mike joined Iowa State University in 2018 as the Audiovisual Experience Manager.  The Audiovisual Experience Team (AVXT) within IT Services is responsible for AV consulting, installation, and repairs across the university.  The AVXT won the 2023 Higher Ed AV Team of the Year with Higher Ed AV Media. Mike previously worked for AV integrator Mechdyne Corporation for almost 19 years serving several roles including engineering manager, R&D, and pre-sales engineering. Mike currently serves as the 1-year at large board member for HETMA. He has held leadership roles in AVIXA and ETC.
