James graduated from Stockton University in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems and a Minor in Business Studies. After graduation he worked for his alma mater until 2022 when he joined Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV as the Assistant Director of AV Services. James also serves on the board of directors for HETMA, writes the monthly column IT in AV for Higher Ed AV, weekly member on The AV Life podcast, and co-host of AskTheProgrammer podcast.
